Anil Kapoor’s elder daughter Sonam Kapoor has enrolled herself in an acting course in New York this summer. Maybe perhaps it’s her way of beating the Mumbai heat or taking a break away from the offers or the lack of offers in Bollywood…whatever Or then maybe she’s realized she needs to hone her acting skills a bit more before embarking on her home production, Ayesha.
No one really knows the exact reason behind her decision to join the acting classes but it is learnt that it is going to be a crash course for a few weeks and that she will be renting an apartment in plush Manhattan while she does her studies.
Our source close to the Delhi-6 girl also revealed that Sonam’s US based friends who studied with her in Boston earlier will also be staying with her in New York while she is there and the girls have planned to make the most of it.
One person not happy with Sonam’s plans is daddy Anil Kapoor. It is learnt that he hasn’t been too happy with his daughter’s decision as he wanted her to stay put in Mumbai and make her presence felt being constantly in sight of the makers and sign on more projects.
